Belongil Beach Surfing

Belongil Beach lies to the north of the main town, easily accessible by car or a short 20 minute walk along the beach itself.  This unpatrolled beach has some good waves but can be inconsistent.  It is a long, open beach that is best in a south or south-west wind, but is unprotected from the northerlies.  It’s a mellow scene, far removed from the busier point breaks on the other side of town. Belongil has some great accommodation options and cafes, but no public toilets or showers close by. There is parking in the dirt carparks at the beaches. It’s also a nudist beach, so be warned!
