Lennox Head Surfing
The playground of iconic surfers of the 1960s and 70s, Lennox is nominated as an Australian Surfing Reserve, recognising its importance in the history, development and culture of surfing in Australia. With a reputation for strong localism, surfers at the headland at Lennox Head are advised to be respectful of their status as visitors. Also, be wary of the rocks that line the beach. This is certainly no place for a beginning surfer! However, more experienced and confident surfers may score some good waves at this famous right-hand point on the right day.
