Set in a tranquil outdoor pavilion designed to make the most of its peaceful location, the restaurant specialises in traditional Royal Thai cuisine, focusing on harmonising the delicate balance of Thai flavours. Having travelled, absorbed and lived the Thai lifestyle and honed his craft in notable restaurants such as Darley St Thai in Sydney and Chilli Jam Cafe in Noosa, Chef Paul Blain delivers an ever-changing menu of fresh and exciting cuisine, served amidst the beautiful surrounds of Spicers Tamarind. The award-winning chef will also share his culinary secrets at regular cooking schools at The Tamarind where visitors learn first-hand the intricacies of Thai cuisine - from where to find the right ingredients to creating the perfect dessert - and then savour their own creations. The charming local villages of Mapleton and Montville, with their arts, crafts and antiques, are a joy to explore while Noosa and the famous Eumundi Markets, open Wednesdays and Saturdays, are also within easy reach.
